Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu in Fairbanks, Alaska - Shoryukan Dojo

For a fifth year in a row, Shoryukan Dojo and the UAF Fencing Club hosted another great Traditional Japanese Sword - Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaido seminar with Martin Simpson Sensei from Eikoku Roshukai, this time during December.  A HUGE  Thank You to Martin Sensei – a very gifted teacher - for all the great instruction, hard training, and a wealth of explanation.

Another great seminar with Martin Simpson Sensei from Eikoku Roshukai - a tremendous Thank You to Martin Sensei for all the great instruction and wealth of details (notice the L-shaped foot pattern in Uki gumo, below...), and for helping establish "Roshukai Alaska!" Very glad to host your visit & very glad you saw the Aurora (the real Aurora, albeit brief). Thank you also to all the enthusiastic students & to the UAF Fencing Club for their support!

Shoryukan Dojo offers training and instruction in Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaido. Our summer training schedule is Fridays at 5pm and Saturday mornings at 9am.
